Community Association Managers

   Mike Banyas, CMCA

Mike became a member of the Elliott Merrill team in June, 2007 as the community manager at Vista Gardens. Originally from Baltimore, MD he spent 30 years as a fire/paramedic in Miami Dade County. Upon retiring from his first career, Mike attended Florida Atlantic University where he received his BAA and became involved in association management. Mike has managed several communities in the Ft. Lauderdale area until relocating to the Treasure Coast.  He and his wife Donna enjoy golf, travel, dining and spending time with their two granddaughters.

   Lynn Heberling, CAM

Lynn joined our team in April 2011. Lynn has a vast amount of community management experience from her 16 years of managing many Treasure Coast properties.  She is experienced with developer turnover issues and has managed multi-condominiums as well as large homeowner associations. Lynn’s experience will bring valuable insight to her communities and Elliott Merrill. She has been a Vero Beach resident for 25 years and comes from Greenwich, Ct..  Lynn has one grown son and three terrific grandchildren.  She enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her family and grandchildren.

   Richard (Rick) Kimes, CMCA

Rick is a graduate of the University of Tampa where he earned a degree in Business Administration. Rick has managed a 500-unit community as an on-site manager. Prior to becoming a community manager Rick worked in the Citrus Industry in international trade.  He has experience in managing people, facilities and sales.  Rick has three grown daughters and one son. Rick is very involved with his church, being an ordained clergy.

   Lee Rech, CAM

Lee joined our team in October of  2010as an experienced community manager previously serving Brevard County, as well as 15 years experience in facilities management.  Lee was born in Chicago but has spent all of his adult life as a Floridian.  Lee is a Navy submarine veteran and an avid Dolphins fan.  In his free time, Lee enjoys spending time with his family who lovingly call him the “Grill Master.”

   Gene Ross, AMS

Gene has been with the company since 1991.  He has taken several Business Administration college courses and has attained the AMS (Association Management Specialist) designation. Gene previously worked for The Moorings Development Company as well as various developers in Resort Management in New Hampshire. Gene and his wife Erica have one son and enjoy spending time being  devoted parents and assisting in his soccer league.

   Bob Whitehead, CMCA, AMS

Bob has been with our company since 1994. He graduated from Maryville College in Tennessee with a Bachelor in Business Administration. Bob has been in the real estate management field since his graduation in 1986.  He has attained the Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation from the Community Associations Institute in June 2007. He has two sons and enjoys spending time with his parents who reside in Lake Mary Florida.
